- ANNAEA (Ann āe a): to the best of my knowledge, this name is not used within any Goddess or Queen pantheon of any known post Atlantean/Lemurian civilization. In my 40’s, I attended a few past-life regression sessions and, in one of these, I saw a woman wearing long, white robes sitting on a low, columned balustrade with a huge, ancient book open on her lap. She was reading and studying the glyphs on the pages. This was her name, and she was me.
- AHB Balanced Blend 1: blended of both yellow and white organic cornmeal and equal parts rose petals, Lavender, and tobacco, plus the 3 Essential Oils.. Useful for rituals or ceremonies for large (20+) crowds or for keeping in a jar in your car for spur-of-the-moment prayer needs.
- AHB Yang Blend 2: a masculine energy blend of organic yellow (sun/Yang) cornmeal with more Ceremonial Tobacco (Yang) in the mix; two-thirds tobacco to one-third Lavender & dried rose petals, plus the 3 Essential Oils.
- AHB Yin Blend 3: a feminine energy blend with organic white (Moon/Yin) cornmeal, and two-thirds Lavender to one-third tobacco and dried rose petals, plus the 3 Essential Oils.
- AHB Altar Blend 4: A blend based on coarse organic blue cornmeal that is ideal for home or community altars. The color is meant to enhance the violet blue (3rd Eye) connection while praying or meditating. Ground Blue Cornmeal is very powdery and can coat clothes and hands if used outdoors, so altar use only is advised. Please do not use plastic or rubber containers for your altar – glass, ceramic, or wood is preferred to allow the clear vibrations of the blend to flow unimpeded to those praying and vice versa.
- AHB Ingredients: each Blend has four ingredients, honoring the Four Directions, and three Essential Oil Essences to promote balance and healing. 4 +3 = 7, my soul number in this lifetime, and a prime Sacred Geometric used in the mathematical designs of medieval labyrinths. Seven is also the number of the Sacred Virgin (archetypal not personal), whole and complete unto Herself (not divisible by any other number.) Each Blend has different concentrations of ingredients, and each Blend order is a custom order uniquely prepared by me. Please go to the Joyful Choices Store page for more information.
- AHB Logo: honors the vibrational healing qualities of both the Divine Feminine and the Sacred Masculine, blending in the Chakra-Vyuha Labyrinth/Egg/Ouroboros Cosmic design to “flow” from the Pushpaputa Mudra outward, honoring all beings as the sacred entities that they are. It is not a true Ouroboros; there is no snake/dragon around the egg, as it is time now to stop chasing our tails (past Karmic issues) and boldly offer our unique heart-centered creations to the world for the benefit of all beings.
- AHB Purpose: When used in ritual and ceremony, Annaea Harmony Blends support an archetypal, balanced connection to The Great Mystery — All That Is, and Gaia. The symbols, sacred geometrics, and ingredient combinations are chosen purposefully to support personal and communal healing and balance during these chaotic times. They are each designed to create harmonic resonance between those praying and offering intentions, and those receiving the offerings, including Gaia, Spirit, God, Allah, Angelic and Ancestral Guardian Spirits, etc.

- RITUAL / THEURGY: The art & practice of tending to the interdependent web of human & more than human; performing the “Divine Work.”
- PERSONAL DEVOTIONALS: Purification Rites, Offerings, Recreations, & Embodiment Rituals.
- COMMUNITY OBSERVANCES: Temple/Church/Mosque Ritual, Lamentation Rites, Ritual Theater Ceremonial Events, Feast Days.
- EXALTATIONS: Celebrations of Prayers Answered & Legacy Unfolding.
- Archetypes: “…universal, inborn models of people, behaviors, and personalities that play a role in influencing human behavior.” Studying and applying the teachings of Carl Jung, Jean Shinoda Bolen, Clarissa Pinkola Estés, and others on this subject has helped me gain a deeper understanding of myself and my proclivity for taking certain types of actions repeatedly in diverse situations over the years, even when I am aware that the result of my actions could be detrimental to my immediate health and wellbeing. The understanding of archetypal rather than personal behavior patterns has allowed me to be less judgmental and critical of my life choices. Examples: the child, the mystic, the pilgrim, the hero, the seeker, the wounded healer, etc. Modern ones at play in our world today: creation, initiation, victim, saboteur.
- Chakra-Vyuha: “a labyrinth design with a very special military formation used to surround enemies, depicted in the Hindu (Sanskrit) epic Mahabharata, and knowledge of how to penetrate it was limited to only a handful of warriors.” The image that is in my logo changes the cross at the center to a “yoni” feminine, connecting, solid “Y” figure, and decreases the number of circuits to five, “the number of “Balance”, the reversed pentagram, and all biological phenomena. Five combines the female number two with the male number three. Five is the divine number of balance because the pentagram has the most internal golden mean ratios of all the shapes.” To me, this combination is relevant for our Aquarian Aeon vibrational needs today and will help support the transformational changes necessary to “ride the waves” of this early stage, valiantly and fearlessly.
- Clary Sage Essential Oil (Salvia sclarea): a flowering herb native to the Mediterranean Basin (it is NOT made from USA western sage), used as an antidepressant to relieve anxiety and stress and bring clarity of purpose.
- Karma: traditionally understood as the concept of; if we suffer in this lifetime then in another lifetime we will benefit. Yet, Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo says this: “In this moment we receive benefit, and in this moment, if we close our hearts to the bounty of joy, we will perceive suffering. It is a simple choice; to attune to the sacred flow of life and, in our attunement, recognize that life is a process of change and that each of us can bring peace to this world by first making peace within ourselves.”
- Pushpaputa: “Sanskrit term meaning “handful of flowers” and refers to the offering of flowers to God in this mudra. Pushpaputa mudra symbolizes openness of mind and soul. This mudra is a gesture of offering with open heart and of acceptance. Practicing this mudra makes one receptive and accepting with gratitude what the universe has to offer.”
- Rose Essential Oil: homegrown flower essence used as an antidepressant to relieve anxiety and stress.
- Violet Flame Essential Oil: “a relic oil of the alchemist, St Germain, intentionally blended to help facilitate and enhance the user’s spiritual connection, in this case, possessing the qualities of mercy, forgiveness, freedom, love, justice, and transmutation. Through the Violet Flame (Crown Chakra), we can transmute all negativity, especially our negative thoughts and emotions, and free ourselves from pain and suffering. The Violet Flame equals joy; the joy that arises when we overcome the limitations that we’ve placed upon ourselves. The Violet Flame frees us from karma, as it transmutes time and space.”
*Graphics designer, LaShelle Easton, modified the original, ancient Chakra-Vyuha design for Labyrinth Journeys, the publisher of a series of journals for sale on Amazon. This modified open-source design is used in my logo with some alterations. The information about archetypal symbols and sacred geometry is readily available on the internet through Wikipedia and other sources.
